Founder: Ian Chamberlain
Ian Chamberlain, founder of Powderpages.com, has always been drawn to the mountains, snow, and the pure joy of skiing. Growing up in Southwest Colorado, his love for winter started young and never left. At Western State University in Gunnison, he managed to balance his studies with countless days on the slopes of Crested Butte—where friends joked he earned his “PhD in skiing powder.”
After years exploring the mountains of the western US and Canada, Ian returned home to Southern Colorado. Now, life is about more than just chasing powder turns—it’s about sharing them. He and his wife are raising two kids, and some of his favorite days are spent introducing them to the mountains, whether that’s a hike through alpine trails, a backcountry adventure, or their first deep powder days.
Powderpages.com grew out of this same passion: a place to share stories, stoke, and a love for all things winter with people who feel at home in the snow.
